Welcome home x

So my parents are back from the wonderful place of the US of A, bringing back lots of presents from all the sights they visited. So for a welcome home celebration me and my sister Lauren decided to bake them a cake because I'm going through an obsession with cooking at the moment and love trying new things! They love their dog Sebastian, so I decided to design a sausage dog  to cut out, and plus I finally got to try fondant! We even made our own fondant from scratch adding in brown food colouring gel and lots of icing sugar, I mean LOTS we were covered in it in the end and so was her kitchen!! But we pulled through and created something special, with coffee cream filling for the dog and white chocolate for the bone. I was pretty proud of ourselves when we were done. They loved it and it tasted awesome :)

Cuter by day

Happy 4 months little man!

This is me with little Angus only 4 months old today, he is my beautiful new nephew. Time has gone by so fast and I'm so happy to see him grow up. My nickname for him is Gusbuggy, he has the most expressive face with a head of black hair. My sister will probably blog as well but I adore him so much I had to share x

My time in New York

My parents are overseas at the moment and right now they are in New York, they have been around America visiting all the sights and buying us kids lots of prezzies! Hearing them talk about all the wonderful things Manhattan has to offer made me miss the times I had when I was living in the upper west side in Manhattan. I've been to New York three times now and lived there for 6 months, at first it was very hard living so far away from the family but as I made friends and the winter past (SNOW I couldn't really handle) by I learnt to like the city! My favourite part was Central Park no matter how many times your there its still amazing, I miss running around Times Square every Friday or Saturday night with one very close friend Margaret, we did so many things together we were very alike! We loved the same kind of food (desserts) and drank lots of tea, she was a great hostess showing me all around the city and was always happy to see the numerous sights again so I could get a taste of the city. The variety of food there is crazy, really big but worth the money. My all time favourite thing when it came to eating was going out and having Mexican and margaritas!
I moved there to further my career in dance, dancing at The Alvin Ailey Dance Theater. I learnt so many things that opened up further opportunities, improved a lot, and made many life friends that I'll never forget! From stepping out of the plane all by myself I grew up straight away! You probably think I sound crazy but I like it more when I'm not there then when I am, it just makes me appreciate all the family support I know I have. Here are some photos of my time in The Big Apple!!

The beginning

I've wanted to start a blog for a little while now, and I never created one until the other day when I went and stayed with my older sister Linley. I saw her blog and her followers, I loved it! So I've made a blog to share my life and to show what really means to me :) Enjoy!
